In addition to clubrooms OtaHoas has places for more specified activities.
Teekkaritoiminnan edistämisrahasto TTER (http://tter.ayy.fi/) has supported OtaHoas on Mechanics and Wood workshop equipment purchases. Tenants are welcome to reach for the stars both for their own and communal projects!
Music playing room

Soundproofed small room for playing, singing and recording. The room microphone and stand, active speakers and headphones and recording device (Focusrite Scarlett 2i2) that you can plug into your own computer with USB. Bring your own instruments.

The premises is not sound proof and hence the use of the premises is forbidden at 22-08. Around the premises, there are residents apartment. Cleaning of premises after use is compulsory and please make sure it is in usable condition for the next user. If the room needs some equipment for the improvement or you have some suggestions please contact tenant committee.
Remember to specify when reserving whether you need the room for one day or for a longer period.

The workshop facilities are (more or less) as follows: bench, drill press, saws (general, hobby, leaf, plug, iron), electric drills, drill bits, files, hammers, screwdriver, knife, axe, wrench, torque tool set, dimensions, circular saw and circular table, electric planer, table jigsaw, sander, compressors, hot glue gun, hot air gun and Splitting. In addition, there an few other basic tools not mentioned above.

Gym room

The room includes multipple dumbells, kettle bells, bar, weights and bench. Also wall bars, elastic bands, gym balls, mats and other items.
There is a muscle hammer that can be used in the space. The room has also loanable equipment: 2 footballs, basketball, volleyball and frisbee. For the loanable items you need to announce when you take and what you take at a new telegramgroup: otahoas.fi / uv
At the moment the room can be opened only with Miestentie 2 A tenants’ keys. If you are interested in the room, you can ask on OtaHoas Telegram group (otahoas.ayy.fi / telegram) or by emailing (otahoas @ list.ayy.fi)
